These gaskets are molded of a unique Nitrile (Buna-N) compound blended to provide excellent compatibility and durability with natural or LP gas. Nitrile has long been accepted as a gas industry standard material.

 The gaskets perform over a broad temperature range. NORMAC risers have been tested by a third party laboratory to meet ASTM F 2509, Standard for Field Assembled Risers. As part of this standard, the riser assembly was cycled between-20F and +140F several times, and then pressure tested at 225 psig.
